A mailing list for the discussion of maintaining laboratories of Macintosh computers. A 'lab' is considered to be a group of machines which are not single user and they are largely similar in content with some central administration.Actually, I'm sure that the mailing list will not be that restrictive. But the mailing list is definitely here to discuss the administration of large numbers of machines. 'Lab' situations have their own challenges and problems, such as:
These problems are not unique to lab situations, but they can be accentuated by the large number of computers involved in the typical laboratory. The MacLabManager mailing list is a way of exchanging experience, opinion and information on these matters.
